Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a rim of off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw as well as hints of honey and some skunky note. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and light touches of fruit and skunkyness, leading to a bitter finish.

Hazy golden with tiny short lasting head. Fruity aroma with notes of sour apples. Sweet flavor that holds fruits and grassy notes.

From bottle, 1B Papsoes New Zealand vs US blind tasting. Pours slight hazy yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Light berry fruity aroma, a touch of mouldyness. Flavour is mild fruity and slight sweet. Shows only a vague bitterness and quite controlled sweetness into the finish. Light fruity note in the far finish.

Not a bad brew. A little on the weak side for a wheat beer. Still, a very drinkable beer. Slight hints of banana, a little citrus.

This golden ale poured with a decent off-white head. There is a rather tasteless wheat flavor with a bit of carbonation.

This beer poured clear with a quickly diminishing white head. Carbonation was light giving this beer’s light yellow body an almost deadish appearance. Aroma was malty with none of the wheat that I would expect from this style. The beer was drinkable, though, with a slight sweetness and smooth texture. It was okay...

Pale yellow with a thin white head. Nice tart wheat yeasty smell. Smooth mouthfeel. Has a light tart grainy wheat taste. easy drinking, if not very flavorful. 03/02/2006
