If it wasn’t for the shooting bubbles seen through this completely lucid macro yellow body, one would think it’s a dead beer. Outside the negative appearance it’s a pretty decent beer. Aroma is light cleaning product, white bread sweetness, and lightly earthy. Taste is stronger on a nice white bread sweetness and lower on the negative aspects. An extremely quaffable beer yet has a body that’s smoothly felt on the cheeks. Leaves a lightly sweet aftertaste and is low on bitterness. It’s like a cheap wheat beer struggling to taste better. Come boy you can do it! 12oz bottle, old school small weizen Lowenbrau glass. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2007 12 oz bottle- Grabbed the last one from Grapevine. Nearly undetectable aroma- some beer smell, some malt. Poured transparent yellow with a slight haze, decent head. Hits the mouth with a good wheat body, finish of malt and a little suger. Decent wheaty, sure to put out the fire of a spicy dish. hopdog (5622), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2007 12oz bottle acquired in trade with bu11zeye (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, grainy, wheaties cereal, and light citrus. Tastes of wheat, cereal, citrus, and had a sweetness in the finish. djd07 (755), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 19, 2007 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a medium white head with a lot of bubbles. The aroma is wheat and a bit of yeast. The taste is sweet corn with a wet bread finish. Easy to drink, but not the best wheat beer from Texas. Dickinsonbeer (3502), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Pours a hazy lemony yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is wheat, cereal, grain, with some white wine, phenol hints and some vanilla. Flavor is cream of wheat, doughy, cereal, with slight citrusy hop hints. Good mouthfeel for the style- crisp and clean finish- lightly bitter. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Bottle from KAggie97 - thanks! Pale golden color with a small head. Aroma has some light wheat and citrus to it. Flavor is rather bland - not much citrus, wheat, or anything representing a Hefe or similar wheat beer. More pale lager than anything. Drinkable, but too weak and watery. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Bottle. Watery golden appearance with some initial lacing. Sweet muffin smell. Light flavor with good carbonation. Watery and a bit on the bland side. Finishes with a medicinal taste. Decent and drinkable but not my favorite. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Light medium gold pour in a weizen glass with a good white head on it. Slightly hazy pour. Smells of light fruitiness, light wheat and a bit of yeast. Crisp at first, and then a creamier finish with a slight bland wheaty flavor. Nothing spectacular even as far as wheats go, but not bad, and very drinkable.
