No aroma and very little head. Fruity flavor mixed with some roasty coffee flavor. Sort of sweet too. Weak & thin body. Pretty drinkable like all SA beers but overall this is highly avg. at best.

Bottle: Courtesy of bu11zeye via trade. The aroma consists of mostly roasted nuts, light chocolate, and hints of coffee. It pours sort of a cloudy brown with orange hilights when held to the light and a small beige head that diminishes quickly. The flavor is mostly chocolate up front. There are some hints of nuttiness in the background. The finish has light notes of coffee. Simple but drinkable. The mouthfeel is a tad thin and the carbonation is a little more lively than I’d expect in a stout.

Black color. The aroma is simple. Some flavor of caramel, light roasted malt, chocolate. The final has also light coffee and milk. Not bad.

Dark brown with tan head. Malty aroma. Subdued taste of roasted malts, maybe some chocolate. Smooth finish. Enjoyable but nothing stands out about it.

(Bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roastiness. Flavor of roastiness, cocoa, and slight lactic with a dry finish. Respectable stout; surprised with the low ratings on this one.

A dark brown pour with very little head. An aroma of mostly toasted malt. A flavor of chocolate, coffee, and very toasted malt. A slight finishing bitter that is decent. A very thin palate but overall a beer I could drink more of.

Bottle. Pours black, with dark brown tinges, and a small light tan head. Aroma and flavor are sweet and roasty malt, with some coffee and maybe chocolate, and more roastiness in the taste. Medium body and smooth palate. I think this is somewhat underrated. It’s a sweet stout, but not cloyingly milky sweet like many; perhaps more like a sweet porter.

12 oz. bottle a gift from decaturstevo - Pours a brown color with a small light tan head. Has a light roasted coffee aroma and flavor. Thin palate but smooth. Medium body. Easy to drink. A decent beer. Thanks Steve.
