A very solid brew right outta Houston,TEXAS ; It is a dark almost black hue that smells delish, and the taste is hard to pinpoint but is damn good,

This is probably going to turn out to be my favorite St. Arnold’s (especially after the Lawnmower debacle.) Rich, sweet aroma. Nice and dark, lousy bottle, lousy label. Fairly sweet, malty, cocoa, medium bittering. Finish goes coffee.

Dark brown color with a thin fast diminshing tan head and a bit of lacing down the sides of the glass. Very stong coffee aroma with hints of chocolate. Nice coffee taste, carmels, and chocolate. I really enjoyed this one.

Poured dark brown opag. Nice brown head, did not linger but left good lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Full mouth feel, Good amount of carbination. Lots of caramel and coffeee in this as well as a bit of bitter hops to round ths out. Nice brew. 4-5-05 RE-RATE: Taste was much more watered down, there also seemed to be a bit much carbination, even after hand warming.

Deep brown, but not opaque, virtually no head. Aroma is mildly hoppy during the pour, then malts and coffee while in the glass. Pretty thin on the body, taste is on the sweet side, heavy coffee flavor. Mildly bitter aftertaste, and a sort of watery mouthfeel. Decent, but needs some work to make the top of the list, maybe some increased body.

Poured a dark red color with a medium head. Fruity sweet malt aroma with a bit of chocolate and coffee. Sweet malty flavor with a bit of fruitiness and some coffee finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste.. Not bad.

Dark brown/red, short lasting head, some lacing. Roasty chocolate malts with thin fruit and sourness along the edges at the finish. Body was a little fizzy. Goes well with food! Thanks Fly.
