Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits. And the flavor is pretty much like the aroma.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Clear, reddish brown with a basically absent, off-white head. Sweetish, roasted malt nose. Medium body, lightly roasted malt with a vaguely burned edge. Sweetish, dry finish without much bitterness. 310507

Rather thin and without much depth or complexity. Disappointing.

Black color. The aroma is simple. Some flavor of caramel, light roasted malt, chocolate. The final has also light coffee and milk. Not bad.

(12oz bottle) Small creamy beige head atop cola-black body. Aroma is medium sweet, roast/coffee, some chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, coffee/roast, light caramel, syrup. Smooth light-medium body, light syrup, easy drinking.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Poured a deeper reddish / brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of roast, earthy (like a pile of raked leaves in the fall), and some chocolate. Tastes of roast, chocolate, and a trace of coffee.

Bottle... Black ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. The aroma is a touch metallic, but also wafts interesting notes of chocolate, blackberries and blueberries. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Well-balanced flavor, but bland. There are suggestions of oxidation, but inoffensive overall. Finishes bittersweet and vinous.
