Bouteille 750ml.

App.: Murky brown poor with a frothy light brown head

Aromas: First nose = spice cake, cinnamon, pumpkin, cloves.

Palate: Semi-sweet palate, lightly chalky, medium body.

Flavors: Preaty much the same as the aromas... minus the pumpkin... added caramel

Notes: Definitely a holiday brew, a good one... just doesnt jive for me though...

341 ml bottle courtesy of Glouglouburp. Cloudy amber pour with a thin offwhite head. Mostly unpleasant aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and fruits. The flavor doesn’t feel good either, some spices (nutmeg and cinnamon) and some fruits try to win my attention but fail miserably. The body is light and creamy with mellow carbonation.

In short: A very juicy (cranberries and more) and slightly spicy beer. Kind of weird and not pleasant.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy dark orange with a very small off-white ring of foam
In long: Coriander, cranberries and a floral touch on the nose. Taste is very juicy. Cranberries, citrus fruits, dried oranges. A weird dusty feeling. Some unidentified spices. Might be the dusty character but something in there reminded me of powder simulated-orange juice. Citrusy hops provide and adequate balance but the whole thing is just on the weird juicy cocktail side of things. When it comes to the Rudolphe there are many options.
1- You could either get one of rare few reasonably priced 341ml bottles (I gave them away to friends)
2- Pay the outrageous $20 for the 750ml (which I refused to do)
3- Drink it on tap at the brewpub (which I did).
But there’s an even better fourth option
4- Don’t drink it at all.
