750ml swingtop bottle - hazy light copper, with a foamy, well-retained head - the aroma hits with a little lemony tartness and dustiness at first, but this quickly makes way for honey, toasted grains, yeasty/doughy character, and background earthy/sweaty qualities - the carbonation is full and lively, yet creamy at the same time - honey sweet up front, but this fades fast, leaving only a mild sweetness, as gentle windflower and buttered toast appear through the middle - peppery/spicy flavor and mild bitterness arrive late - moderate minerals and herbs in the finish - a very soft earthy/hay flavor way in the back (I wish it were a little more prominent - my only complaint) - quite subtle and tasty

Grassy, floral hops. Doughy, honey malts with a touch of hay. Ripe fruity yeast with a bit of dusty cobwebs and minerals. Very well conditioned, with a very soft body and gentle carbonation. Fantastic BdG!

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is clear, golden in color, with an ok white head. The smell is banana, sprices, fruits, yeast, and good. The taste is fruits, spices, wheat, banana, and yeast.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of lemon zest, gum, pepper, honey. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/fizzy carbonation. Very enticing aroma. A little on the sweet side, but well-balanced over all. Kind of syrupy and fizzy too...so, it’s not quite as much fun to drink as sniff, but overall a pretty decent beer.

Bottle 0,75ltr. with cork: Golden coloured Biere de Garde with an excellent herbal and floral taste, and an lemony bitter finish.

Bronzed golden. Healthy yet scattered white head exhibits good retention. Phenolic nose of plastic, clove and black pepper with softer notions of lemon, aniseed (Strisselspalt?), bubblegum, minerals, mint and toasted crackers. Faint Dupontesque sulfur, as well. Soft effervescence washes over the palate. Dry and vivacious upfront, with notes of plastic, airy phenols and fervid clove swirled with a succulent torrent of floral hops. Suggestive lemon drop, bubblegum, and dried pineapple flavors contribute delicate tongue-clinging sweetness to the substantially slippery unripe-banana twang. Quite brisk given the profusion of snappy phenols and gritty minerals which displace the slickness as they scrub the tongue. Dry ghostlike malt lends faint toastiness, though largely takes a backseat to the feisty yeast-derived complexities. Finishes continually staunch and spirited in the phenol department, yet equally delicate as it is succulently fruity and hoppy, with a tasteful mixture of flowery softness and semi-brash herbal hop bitterness. Another standout offering from the farmhouse gurus.
