Good cream coloured head over hazy amber beer. Vinegar, wood, stale cookies, tinned mushrooms aroma’s. Lactic, cheesy flavour, resulting in sharpish MF, thinnish, and generally totally unbalanced. Something’s been tried, here, but it obviously didn’t succeed.

[Damn - I forgot I had to rate the St. John’s Dark ale and Kolsch I had this summer - here’s what I remember. I will re-rate if I find other bottles] Dark brown, opaque body. Caramel, molasses and ripe fruit in the aroma. Taste is full and complex with hazelnut, licorice and roasted grains. Medium to full-bodied, nice long finish.
