Nasconde bene l’alcool

Another thanks to BDR. Cloudy gold color with no head. Light honey and a strong spicy wheat aroma. The honey tastes quite fermented out and dry. Fruity yeast, slightly sweet malt character and a barnyardy finish.

Bottle. BB 2011. Orange gold color with a transient white head. Fruity aroma. Med. body with mild carbonation. It’s lightly sweet and rather floral. Finishes towards, but not at, dry. This one is different from the common herd. Develops some bitter with time. Good drink.

Hazy gold with a white head. Sour shoe polish aroma. Taste is slightly citric, full of fruits like kiwi and melon. Very little dryness, and not a hint of honey, which probably proves my sense of taste is utterly clapped out.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy gold/orange with thin beige head. Yep, some honey gives it some sweetness, but I quite like it. Actually its a bit like a tripel, something like Dulle Teve, but not as good. Bit sweet and a bit of puke flavour develops. I scored it down as I drank more of it.

0.33 l bottle. Hazy golden color with yeast flocs, creamy head. Sweet honeyish aroma with tart fruitiness and hint of meaty yeastiness. Sweet, tart and perfumed flavor with bready notes, herbal- peppery spiciness and some alcohol sharpness. Nice tart and herbal taste, but yeast and alcohol disturbs a bit.
