Courtesy of Fonefan. The Beer floods out of the bottle, and goes on and on. The head is very weak and quickly disappearing. The color is very beautiful warm, yellow amber and the aroma has a light sweetness and notes of malt and honey. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, candy sugar, honey and the finish is slightly dry. The overall impression is a bit weak, but still OK.

Pours a clear golden color with a lot of floating chunks and a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of honey, hops and yeast. Good flavor of honey, hops and yeast. The body is medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. I didn’t expect much from this beer, but it’s quite good.

Bottle picked up at Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames consumed 18-06-08 Pours almost orange in colour with a large head which like Mr Benn rapidly disappears leaving just a few solitary bubbles scattered around the rim. Spicy on the nose of which mace/nutmeg was the one thing that I noted, some yeast and a soft citric waft. The flavour is not unlike the head in that it is there one minute and then gone the next, quite strange. Soft and slightly sour with spicy tangerine flavours.

From Ambly, Belgium 010408 Bottle Round and with no sign of the alcohol. Balanced sweetnes (might be the fructose from the honey) and a suplementing back-mouth Thin and high carbonated as a belgian
