| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2005 Nearly black brown; small yellowish head. Spicey - as tandoori herbs, or the coriander-mint-yoghurt sauce coming with the poppadums. Further some dark malts, but restrained. I know there’s thyme in it - and one can taste it: it gives the taste of a spiced roastbeef crust and gravy, in an (again) Indian tandoori way. Well bodied, nearly chewy. Amazing how this thymol can give (in combination with the beer) a multitude of flavours. This is a very nice beer, actually. jerc (3945), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 12, 2008 2008-03-01. Brown body, I got a murky end of the bottle sample I think, tan head. Sweet and lightly spicy aroma, ginger. Ginger starts slow but grows in both the aroma and flavour, sweet underlying malt, lingering impressiong of ginger and spice. Average plus palate (3+). Not bad.
