33 cl bottle. Pours murky brown, with a fast diminishing thin white head. Aroma of dark fruits, plums and brown sugar. Fizzy in the mouth, earthy dark taste, dark caramel, sweet overall, but a nice roasted feeling overall, nice

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Lasting ruby, very thin beige head. Dark fruit aroma. Bit musty in the mouth on the malts. Bit over carbonated, but this musty flavour goes on a bit. Bit syrupy on the malts. Not great to be honest. Some ok aroma, rest lets it down.

Dark red-brown colored, vanishing yellow head. Plummy, dried fruits aroma with chocolate and yeasty spiciness, fine aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar with plums and raisins dominating in sweet start, some chocolaty and sour vinous note. Aftertaste dries with sourness and yeast. Complex and fine dubbel.

Bottle. [thank you, Harrisoni]
Pours a nice, redish brown with a giant, creamy, yellow-beige head. Aroma is sweet, lots of dried fruits, chocolate and toffee. A great creamy mouthfeel, pretty dry, actually. Wonderful flavours, great chocolate, lightly roasted and some good yeast. Fine cocoa dryness in the finish. Very nice beer.

RE-rate: Bottle, 33 cl. (friday 01.08.08) @ terras on Ferme de la Vallée, Rendeux. Brwon color, beige head. Aroma light roasted malts, bit spice, fruits. Medium body. Taste is very regular brown ale, light roasted malts, fruits, sweet. Nothing special. First rating on 8/6/2007 from bottle, 75 cl. (bought at ZBF, tasted yesterday @ home with Paul Vdb) Very dark brown color, with medium white head. Aroma roasted malts, sweet. Medium body. Taste is a bit complex; roasted malts, a very little spices, bitterness, ... Nice brown beer.

Courtesy of Fonefan. The Beer floods out of the bottle, and goes on and on. The head is very weak and quickly disappearing. The color is beautiful red mahogany. The aroma is sourish with notes of roasted malt, dark sourish fruits, slightly dry citrus and light candy sugar. The overall impression is a bit disturbed by the sourness IMO.
