The head is very weak and quickly disappearing. The color is beautiful red mahogany. The aroma is sourish with notes of roasted malt, dark sourish fruits, slightly dry citrus and light candy sugar. The overall impression is a bit disturbed by the sourness IMO. daniele (1750), Italy

Mild aroma, tangy prunes/raisins, some kind of dark fruit over malt, which continues in the flavour where it adds magnitude to the tangy fruit aspect. Malt is present, but a touch dilute, and secondary to the afore mentioned fruit character. (6+) Average palate is thinner than I’d personally like for the style. Average, pleasant. Medium-bodied with notes of almond-paste, sweet licorice, tart cherry-skins and dates. Long fruity finish of over-riped cherries, tobacco, almonds and dates.
