Very dark brown, light barely shines through it. Very complex aroma. Slightly marmitey. Smoked fish on rye-bread too. Very savoury taste, strong darkly roasted malt. Quite spicey and herby. Anna (a yank) says "taco seasoning". Very unusual. SilkTork (4183), Rochester, Kent, England

Nothing sharp or bloody like the aged or Oud bruins from Flanders, but heading in that direction. There’s a nice fruity touch to this. Hop bitterness is low - most of the character coming from the action of the yeast on the dark malts. Hints of chocolate, drops of thin blood, rusty tin, and orange zest. Wrapped up well. Both interesting and refreshing. A damn fine drink. Dolty (15), Sweden
