| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 29, 2009 33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Lasting ruby, very thin beige head. Dark fruit aroma. Bit musty in the mouth on the malts. Bit over carbonated, but this musty flavour goes on a bit. Bit syrupy on the malts. Not great to be honest. Some ok aroma, rest lets it down. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Dark red-brown colored, vanishing yellow head. Plummy, dried fruits aroma with chocolate and yeasty spiciness, fine aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar with plums and raisins dominating in sweet start, some chocolaty and sour vinous note. Aftertaste dries with sourness and yeast. Complex and fine dubbel. thewolf (5808), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a nice, redish brown with a giant, creamy, yellow-beige head. Aroma is sweet, lots of dried fruits, chocolate and toffee. A great creamy mouthfeel, pretty dry, actually. Wonderful flavours, great chocolate, lightly roasted and some good yeast. Fine cocoa dryness in the finish. Very nice beer. Jerre (1756), Waregem, Belgium
