Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Spice and liqourice in the aroma. Some dried fruits. Flavour full of christmas spices. Sweetness and liqourice is there. Medium bodied. Has a spicy and yeasty end. Nice.

(Bottled@Kerstbierfestival 2007, Essen) Clear dark ruby (no yeast) with a small, partly lasting head. Sweetish-grainy-dark-malty aroma with cloves and cardamom-anisey herbs. Grainy-malty, roasty-burned flavor with an ashy finish. Some licorice with smoother ashiness when it warms up. Medium-bodied with quite low carbonation. At first it was not that nice, but by drinking more and getting it warm, it turned out quite pleasant.

Dark brown coloured, with an average off-white head. Very herby (thyme also) aroma, speciale one. Full sweeter taste. Finish is strong, alcoholic. Rather special, but very nice beer.

75 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours deep amber to brown with a dense light orange/brown head. Dried fruity aroma. Flavour is mild yeasty spiced, very mild smoked note on top of the malt. Finish is softly spiced with a lingering spice note.

Bottle. Dark brown with a healthy khaki head. Spicy aroma with sweet caramel subdued by herbs and spicy yeastiness.Sweet caramel sweetness meeting herbs (read:thyme)- it is a meeting, not a marriage. Full body, soft mouthfeel. Not sure if I would say that using thyme is an example to follow- it is basically too overpowering. Yet the taste is very original and as such strangely addictive.
