Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

Cloudy copper color with a thin white head. Big fruity nose full of yeast and apricots, maybe a touch of orange. Flavor is fruity malt with a touch of honey. Not bad.

750 ml. from Trinity Liquors in Spring Hill, FL. Very nice bottle. Pours burnt orange with an off white head. Fruity and spicy aroma, very nice. Very complex flavor, tons of different fruits and spices and nice warm alcohol. Leaves a bit of an aftertase but fairly easy on the palate. Overall its a pretty damn good beer...I’d say better than Delirium Nocturnum and Chimay Red...but not as good as the other Deliriums and Chimays. Definately worth a buy.

750 ml bottle via trade trade - Started gushing as soon as I popped the cork. Didn’t lose much though. Pours a hazy amber color with a one finger thick light tan head. Not much lacing. Aroma is esters and yeast. Flavor is primarily sweet fruit with some light malt backing. Medium body. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. A quite enjoyable beer.

Pours an amber colour. Dark fruits, hints of spice, and caramel in the nose. Dark fruit, candy sugar, and Belgian yeast in the mouth. Very drinkable

Pours thick and orange with a medium, frothy white head. Aroma is very curious, smell apricot, raisins, caramel, and honey. Drinks very smooth, coats the mouth. A solid beer, very easy to drink and well balanced.

750 bottle. Corked. Served in a smokestack chalice. Beer slightly chilled. There was a good pop when the cork came out. Muddy brown, small head. Dark fruits, dark caramel, and some spiciness in the aroma. Mouthfeel is good, lots of carbonation present in the beer. The flavor is quite good, lots of complexity. Very drinkable. Dark fruits (raisons, dates, and prunes), sweet malt, spice (clove ? maybe allspice?) and warming alcohol near the end.

Bottle courtesy of solan and shared by Sparky27 at hellbilly*s holiday tasting. Fruity orange carbinated aroma on the snoot. Amber body with tan head. Fruity orange flavor with some citric acid and dry and tart on palate. Good brew. Thanks Eric.

Rating #400. 750 ml bottle. 2008 vintage. Deep, dark ruby color. Clear and full of carbonation. Large, fluffy, light tan head. Good bit of lacing. Aroma of spices, dark fruits, candi sugar. Flavor is pretty balanced. A touch of sweetness accompanies the dark fruits. Finish is malty. Nice beer. Glad to have them available in Georgia now.
