Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

Nice tart aroma starts this off, lots of carbonation with a huge tan head that sticks around. The beer itself is a reddish-amber in color, and highly carbonated. Nice balance of flavors, dark candi sugars, dark fruits, spice, a touch of roast, and just a hint of the tartness promised by the aroma. I am glad I got this one as an extra, it is a pleasant surprise.

750ml obtained in trade with dchmela. Deep amber/clover honey pour. Sweet honey like aroma. The flavor has almost no residual sugar but there is still a candy like presence. Very floral and flowery taste. Full body and mouth feel. Quite drinkable. Though not as good as the saison.

750 thanks to daknole. This stuff is good, but a bit on the too sweet belgian style for me. Worth a try though.

Small light tan head, fizzy but lasting. Lacing is minimal, somewhat stringy and spotty. Hazy copper hued brew. Light nose of caramel malts, light fruit notes, raisin, plum? Body is lightly medium, lightly oily with a soft carbonation, surprisingly. Lightly sweet malt flavors, caramel with some candy sugar, faint bananna notes and hints of apple cider like flavors. Lightly sweet malty finish. Twas just OK. Bottle purchased @statelineliquors.

Bottle courtesy of jw347 poured into a snifter. After nearly putting a hole in the ceiling with the cork, this one poured a murky caramel brown with orange hints around the edges. The huge tan head lingers as a cap for the duration and leaves very good lacing. The aroma is an interesting mix of Belgian yeast, candi sugar and a bit of tartness. There was a bit spices and some dark fruits as well. The taste was a bit sweeter than the aroma with candi sugar, caramel and dark fruits dominating with that same fruit tartness mixing in as well. Some interesting tastes going on, but a little out of balance for me. Lots of carbonation in the mouthfeel and its on the lighter side of things with a lot of sticky sweetness. This is my first Saint Somewhere brew and its good to see a brewery in FL making such interesting beer. That said, this one was only OK and Im definitely looking for more from my next brew from them.

Sample courtesy of Sparky27 at the hellbilly holiday tasting. Hazy deep amber pour with a small foamy head. Aroma of tart fruit, malt, spice and yeast. Tart berries, yeast and a hint of vinegar in the flavor. Tasty. Thanks Eric!

750ml bottle thanks to badbeer. Pours cloudy amber with a moderate sized, sticky looking white head, good lace. Smells fruity and spicy and yeasty. Pretty sweet. Tastes sweet and yeasty with lots of fruit flavors, plums, raisins and some red fruits, raspberries maybe. Some spicy yeasty bread flavors as well. Medium body, active carbonation. Pretty good.
