Pours a semi-hazy dark amber brew with a thick and lumpy off-white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of tart fruit, some yeast, candi sugar and a mild barnyard funk. Taste is medium bodied with flavors of toasted biscuits, yeast, candi sugar, some tart apple and cotton candy. Finish is slightly tart with a lingering yeast and caramel aftertaste. marcus (1853), Sacramento, California, USA

Aroma of sweet bubblegum yeast, caramel, brown sugar and a touch of spice. Pours transparent amber with lots of bubbles and a medium lasting head. Flavor matches aroma with some fruitiness thrown in for good measure. Palate is creamy and smooth. A very tasty American Belgian brown that is underrated here. pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 This beer poured a tea colored brown with a big active tan head that faded into a ring. Didn’t have to look for the aroma, it came and got me. Full of over ripe fruit with yeast, funk, and caramel. Some grass, too. Very nice and sweet. Flavor had a lot going on. Like the aroma it was full of over ripe fruit with spices, pepper, yeast, brown sugar. Felt like dozens of pin pricks on my tongue with each sip. Alcohol wasn’t tasted but I couldn’t get up after drinking the 750. Just a very well done beer and one that could have come from Belgium. Enjoyed!
