| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 This is from a green bottle, so I may have to re-rate. Cloudy orange, not much head. Very yeasty, fruity aroma, with stoeny and herbal notes. Some bubblegum and banana, too. Smooth, melow carbonation. Flavor doesn’t really measure up to the aroma - Sweet, and a lot of alcohol, considering its only 8%. Crisp and peppery toward the finish. A lot of yeasty flavor through to the end. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2008 This one had a cuvee aroma and sour apples with big malting. A sipper. Easy drinker with understated carbonation. juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Poured a cloudy orange color with a medium foamy white head that left some lacing around the glass. The aroma is of tart citrus fruits, some funky belgian yeast, candy sugar, and some apples. The flavor is very interesting as well of tart fruits with a lot of candy sugar mixed in. The tart apples and oranges seem to blend in well with candy sugar with some of that yeast present. I liked the flavor this one had. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with the right amount of carbonation and long sweet finish. This was definitely interesting and glad to see something good like this come out of florida. Nose of musty fruit and tart yeast; hay and aged hops. The flavor is zesty, light body, some pickly and brie notes. Cheese and zesty tail. Belgiany for florida. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Pours a pretty dark orange and brown with very minimal head off a careful pour. Nose is yeasty, funky, goodness. Flavor is full and even. Nice, fairly long lasting flavor ride. Noticeable sugar. Nice even spiced edge. This is just damn smooth. Great mouthfeel. Very drinkable. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 2, 2008 750 ml(courtesy of gunhaver)-Another problem getting this one uncorked had again to use a corkscrew and there was no carbonated pop. A cloudy orangish/reddish which started out with a head then dissipated quickly into nothing. Aroma of yeast, malt, plums, sweetness, and apples. Taste of this medium bodied brew comes across with begian yeast, sweetness, and a bit of alcohol. Very flat. Would of liked to try one that was carbonated correctly.
