| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Tasting – Perfect Pour. Dark amber, thin creamy head. Sweet raisin and brown sugared cherry aromas ride soft grassy-like undercurrents. Caramelized dried dark fruit tones gain a touch of herbal grassy hop flavor late. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A touch too sweet for me… robertjm (403), El Cerrito, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 Pours deep amber into a tulip. Tan head recedes to skim surface. Balsamic and spicy fruit aromas. Crisp and well balance - sweet summer fruits upfront turning sour and lemony in the lasting finish. TampaBrew (805), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 7, 2009 Pours brownish red with yellowy orange highlights and a beige head that sticks around for ages. Looks great. The aroma is awfully heavy on the apples and pears though, along with grapes, red wine, and maybe toffee. Tastes of more apples, pears, wine, spice, and a bit of caramel. Finishes with a little toast, brown sugar, and candy apples. Damn, this is fruity and very tangy. Not tart or sour really, just tangy. Creamy enough mouthfeel, but the carbonation is quite high and the tanginess isn’t all that desirable. Still it’s complex, unique and worth trying.
