Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA Jan 21, 2009 Pours with a crystal clear amber-orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with some lacing left on the glass. It’s sweet and malty with notes of fruit and candy sugar. Medium bodied, smooth and well carbonated. DaSilky1 (1932), San Diego, California, USA Jan 18, 2009 Orangish brown color with thin head atop. Fruity and yeasty nose (apple/pear) with touches of light spice. Nice, crisp apple pie like flavors with some malty sweetness and a unique and refreshing apple cider like yeast profile. Very enjoyable flavors going on here. Darkover (1308), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jan 14, 2009 Hazy dark orange color with a beige head. Aroma of spices, sweet malts and some sour fruits. Flavor of many fruits and spices, with some yeast and alcohol. Pretty good. Thanks to hoppy2beerhere for the trade. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Jan 13, 2009 Clear copper with tan head. Nice toasted caramel, yeasty spicy aroma. Light frothy mouthfeel. Decent flavors of caramel apple with ripe pear and spicy yeast. Nice alcohol twang to finish. Not too bad. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jan 12, 2009 Cloudy copper color with a thin white head. Big fruity nose full of yeast and apricots, maybe a touch of orange. Flavor is fruity malt with a touch of honey. Not bad. BrianDorry55 (117), Spring Hill, Florida, USA Jan 10, 2009 750 ml. from Trinity Liquors in Spring Hill, FL. Very nice bottle. Pours burnt orange with an off white head. Fruity and spicy aroma, very nice. Very complex flavor, tons of different fruits and spices and nice warm alcohol. Leaves a bit of an aftertase but fairly easy on the palate. Overall its a pretty damn good beer...I’d say better than Delirium Nocturnum and Chimay Red...but not as good as the other Deliriums and Chimays. Definately worth a buy. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Jan 8, 2009 750 ml bottle via trade trade - Started gushing as soon as I popped the cork. Didn’t lose much though. Pours a hazy amber color with a one finger thick light tan head. Not much lacing. Aroma is esters and yeast. Flavor is primarily sweet fruit with some light malt backing. Medium body. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. A quite enjoyable beer. josuemucho (86), Orlando, Florida, USA Jan 6, 2009 Pours an amber colour. Dark fruits, hints of spice, and caramel in the nose. Dark fruit, candy sugar, and Belgian yeast in the mouth. Very drinkable
