Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Murky copper color with a fizzy and lasting off-white head. Aroma is light and sweet with a decent amount of spice. Some malts and fruits mix with candied sugar and yeast. Almost saison-like. Flavor begins with a sweet and sugary taste that moves to a mildly spiced middle with tons of fruit sweetness. Some apples and citrus near the end. Finishes dry and tart with a light sweetness that hangs around.

Apricots and bananas glazed in brown sugar, with violets added to the syrup, served on a warm plate of the color of desaturated orange.

750, thanks to Ibrew2or3! Pours lightly hazy copper with a thin off-white head. Aroma of nuts and oxidized apples. Light body and medium carbonation. The taste has a character not unlike apple cider. Semi-dry finish. Nice!

Bottle shared at tasting. Pours cloudy and a dark caramel color with a big lasting creamy beige head. Smell is mild and dusty malt. Too mild in fact. Taste is similarly tame, and slightly sweet with not much going on flavorwise. Hints of dusty sweet spice which become almost a touch cloying in the end. Not something I’d be crazy about having again.

Bottle: Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma, toasted notes, floral hops, some yeast and spices. Flavor, spices, yeasty, some slight funky notes, floral hops. Medium to light body, a pleasant carbonation. Pretty solid.

Orangish brown color with thin head atop. Fruity and yeasty nose (apple/pear) with touches of light spice. Nice, crisp apple pie like flavors with some malty sweetness and a unique and refreshing apple cider like yeast profile. Very enjoyable flavors going on here.

750 ml bottle via trade trade - Started gushing as soon as I popped the cork. Didn’t lose much though. Pours a hazy amber color with a one finger thick light tan head. Not much lacing. Aroma is esters and yeast. Flavor is primarily sweet fruit with some light malt backing. Medium body. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. A quite enjoyable beer.
