Aroma is light and sweet with a decent amount of spice. Some malts and fruits mix with candied sugar and yeast. Almost saison-like. Flavor begins with a sweet and sugary taste that moves to a mildly spiced middle with tons of fruit sweetness. Some apples and citrus near the end. Finishes dry and tart with a light sweetness that hangs around. PhillyBeer2112 (2087), Orange Park, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Bottle shared at tasting. Pours cloudy and a dark caramel color with a big lasting creamy beige head. Smell is mild and dusty malt. Too mild in fact. Taste is similarly tame, and slightly sweet with not much going on flavorwise. Hints of dusty sweet spice which become almost a touch cloying in the end. Not something I’d be crazy about having again. sliffy (1989), Columbus, Ohio, USA
