Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

Clear copper with tan head. Nice toasted caramel, yeasty spicy aroma. Light frothy mouthfeel. Decent flavors of caramel apple with ripe pear and spicy yeast. Nice alcohol twang to finish. Not too bad.

i’ve run into so many disappointments lately. it is nice to have a pleasant surprise. dark brown orange pour with a thick gray head. sweet fruity nose with a bit of something that reminds me of fresh cut cilantro and limes. rich thick flavor that has some pineapple and mango with a prune sweetness that is wonderful. DEFINITELY A HIGHER GRAVITY BEER. THIS THINGS WARMS ME UP ON A COLD MORNING. , fuck you, capslock. warming dry finish that has a good lingering yeasty dough and orange flavors. 12 bucks a bottle and i do not feel ripped off. 5 8 8 5 17

C&C 750 from kp - thanks! Hazy gold-orange with a slight white head. Spicy-sweet nose, bread and caramel, some ginger. Flavor follows the nose, with some doughy bits. Yeast shows up big as it warms a bit. Not a bad drinker - creamy medium body.

Hazy orange pour similar to caramel. Yeasty aroma. Very fruity beer with notes of cherry, tart apple, grapes, and oranges. Quite a complex beer giving way to honey, and a nice sour funk. very refreshing on the venice beaches south jetty on the 4th trappist glass and all. You can only get away with that a couple times of year.! looks like the forth is one of them. KNOW THAT!

This dark amber ale poured with a fluffy beige head and a sour fruity aroma The flavor is sweet and sour with lots of spice and maybe some candy sugar - not as mellow as the good Belgian abbey ales it is intended to imitate - imitate being the key word here.

Thanks to durhambeer. Pours a ruddy ruby orange with a two finger creamy orange head. The nose is sweet, apples, cinnamon, apple sauce, sweet spices. Nice fruity aroma. The flavor is very fruity, lots of sweet spice, cinnamon and nutmeg, apple, lightly warming alcohol, apple cider, has a lite tartness. Nice mouthfeel, finishes sweet and warm.
