Jan 14, 2009 Hazy dark orange color with a beige head. Aroma of spices, sweet malts and some sour fruits. Flavor of many fruits and spices, with some yeast and alcohol. Pretty good. Thanks to hoppy2beerhere for the trade.

Jun 2, 2008 Bottle from trade. Dirty caramel color with not-much-of-a white head. Aroma is pretty funky and malty, oaky and almost flemish sour aroma. Oaky, dirty, red fruit and slight alc, lots of earthy belgian yeast, a little winey as it warmed. Medium body with a little bit of carb. I am really digging this brew, like a big flemish, mixed with saison, very nice.

Dec 10, 2007 Cloudy orange/amber, with a white head. Aroma is yeast, apples, and some spices. Flavor is apples, caramel, yeast, and sugar. Thanks to PhillyBeer2112 for thia bottle.

May 15, 2008 Bottle. Brown pour with reddish hint, some off white head. Sweet sugary malt, ripe fruit, and yeast (unibrouesqu) in the aroma. The flavor is the same, the sugar and ripe fruit are nice flavors. Enjoyable and very drinkable for this abv.

Mar 19, 2008 Thanks Blankboy! 750 bottle - mild hop-toffee aroma, muddy toffee colour with a small hint of a white head. Sticky toffee flavour with a somewhat caramel finish. Not bad at all

Sep 26, 2008 750ml - Thanks solan - Cork let off a big "POP", thanks for heads up Alan. Aroma of sweet bubblegum yeast, caramel, brown sugar and a touch of spice. Pours transparent amber with lots of bubbles and a medium lasting head. Flavor matches aroma with some fruitiness thrown in for good measure. Palate is creamy and smooth. A very tasty American Belgian brown that is underrated here.

Mar 16, 2009 Wow big head and big carbonation here. Pours is murky reddish brown with a quickly dissipating offwhite head. Distinct yeast aroma and some sweet caramel. Flavor is red fruit up front a bit of cinnamon spice that all fades to a musty sort of flavor from the yeast. That must and fruit stick to your palate for a bit. There is a hint of caramel sweetness working in the background as well. The texture again is pretty bubbly with the carbonation. Pleasantly surprised by this one. Who wants to send me the oaked version?

Mar 10, 2009 Sweet and caramel taste. Lots of carbonation. Toffee. Very nice version of the style. Even in Florida, good beer is being made! Very enjoyable. Only two bottles seem to have made it to Missouri, and they are both at Wine and Cheese. Have to pick up more next time I’m in St. Louis.
