Jun 1, 2008 Acquired in a trade with Beerlando - Pours a hazy amberish brown color with a small fizzy white head. Interesting nose of Indian spices, cardamon, and cinnamon, with a small amount of vinous apple skins. Sweet bready maltiness, with some white pepper spice, white grapes and a bit of honey mixed with white candi sugar. A bit of babana yeastiness as well as a small amount of caramel and toffee. Not bad at all, very drinkable. Thanks Bryan!

Dec 14, 2008 750ml bottle thanks to badbeer. Pours cloudy amber with a moderate sized, sticky looking white head, good lace. Smells fruity and spicy and yeasty. Pretty sweet. Tastes sweet and yeasty with lots of fruit flavors, plums, raisins and some red fruits, raspberries maybe. Some spicy yeasty bread flavors as well. Medium body, active carbonation. Pretty good.

Apr 12, 2008 750ml bottle via Mys Swap 3.0. Pours a cloudy amber with a small head. Nose is fusel alc, banana and sweet malts. Tastes just like it smells. This must be a belgian yeast..is unique..but has the classic belgian profile. Also some spiciness..ginger, cardimom. Body is full. Carbonation is medium.

Feb 7, 2009 Bottle acquired via the generosity of Sparky27. Eric is the most generous guy on the site...THANKS!!! Copper penny pour with a bit of rusty nail around the edges and a frothy ivory head. Aroma exhibits a nice grassiness, along with raisin, brown sugar, and spice. Flavor is definitely belgian-inspired with yeasty, biscuity qualities, spice, and even a brett-like sourness. Medium mouthfeel and unique. Liked this one alot!!!

Jun 16, 2009 bottle thanks to daknole. poured a amberish/brown with a great off white head. aroma of caramel, apple, and some funk. flavor was caramel, cinnamon, dark fruit, and cherry. light body and high carbonation. pretty good...thanks dakine

Jul 10, 2009 750ml bottle. This is very carbonated, the cork blew before we got the cage off, but lost only an ounce or two. Nice looking brew, kind of an orange glow too it, nice light tan as well. Has kind of a tart apple aroma, slightly sweet as well. More apples in the flavor, no tartness though, sweetish, dry and some raisins to go along with the apple, pretty good.

Sep 28, 2009 bottle. copper colored body, hazy and a few yeast particles, with a frothy foamy medium tan head. aroma is yeasty bready sweet malt like tart apple cider, valenica oranges in the fall, plums, and some chardonnay. flavor is lightly spiced caramel malt, tart like over-ripe apple cider, and and bready like water biscuits. lots of folks are unimpressed but I enjoyed this almost as much as a Fanotme or a Jolly Pumpkin.

Jul 5, 2009 750 ml bottle via trade? Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma was sweet, slightly fruity, Belgian candy sugar, yeast and spices. The flavor had more fruits, caramel malt, banana, yeast, sugary sweet, with a touch of alcohol. Decent interesting beer. Medium full mouthfeel.
