Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

Bottled. Thx marsiblursi. Amber with a small, white head. Pretty sweet and malty aroma. Flavour from cedar and some light toffee.

750 mL bottle. Pours hazy amber with an average, fizzy, light brown head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, straw), average hops (flowers, grass), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of apple, pear, raspberry, and wood. Full bodied, sticky and gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

My bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & garthicus -- courtesy of gunhaver. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma’s sweet with some light funkyness, citrus and a bit of candi sugar. Flavour’s a mix of sweet and sour along with caramel, some fruit and a light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Pretty nice!

Tampa, Fl. - Total Wines - 750 ml corked and caged bottle. Pours a dark orangeish amber with an initially rocky off white head that dminishes a bit halfway through. Aroma is a bit off with some funkiness to it - hard to place - overrpe prunes and a hint of bandaids. Grows on you and you get used to it. Flavor has some toffee, baked brown bread, raisins, pipe tobacco and hint of milk chocolate in the finish. Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy. Glad to see some decent brews coming out of Florida and it feels good to support a local brewer.

Thanks to iowaherkeye for bringing this bottle to his ’farewell to Iowa’ tasting. My first beer from Florida. Poured a slightly hazy medium orange color. with a soap bubble white head. The aroma was fruit dominated (especially pear) with a bit of toffee underneath. There was also a whiff of chlorinated pool water. Kind of like that smell you sometimes get in a the hotel lobby that lets you know there is a pool somewhere in the building. Very fruity and semi-sweet. I tasted pear, apple, peach, and rock candy. Akin to a fruit liqueur.

750 from Degarth. Shared with Bartzilla. Pretty damn tasty, really nice citrus flavors and a light refreshing taste from a belgian strong. Pretty tasty, I really liked this.
