Pours a nice amber with an aroma of atticy sugar sweetness. Tastes of old vintage that has sat on a shelf for a few winters. Nice berry, nut, and cereal. The rating doesn’t indicate it, but this is a dang good beer. ekstedt (2439), Göteborg, Sweden

Tropical fruits, especially tangerine and oranges, in the aroma. Spicy and sugary as well. Medium bodied and smooth. Too sweet. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2007 This lacks the amazing aroma of the other Saint Somewhere, but there’s a little more beer to it. A bit of green apple in the finish. Not as good as the other one. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Pours with a crystal clear amber-orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with some lacing left on the glass. It’s sweet and malty with notes of fruit and candy sugar. Medium bodied, smooth and well carbonated. dkachur (2376), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Degarth. 1st batch. Thanks! Looks like unfiltered apple cider in the glass. Medium sized frothy head that diminishes quickly. Funky, caramelly, butterscotchy, fruity aroma. Taste is strong caramel with prunes, spice. Thick texture, nicely carbonated. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottle: Poured a pale clear orangey color ale with a big foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice medium sweet caramel malt with some light funky notes also discernable. Taste is a mix between some nice caramel medium sweet malt with some subtle funky notes. Nice creamy body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol but lacking spices and character to makes this truly interesting. I am glad I got the chance to try this and looking forward to try their other offerings. eaglefan538 (2368), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 11, 2007 Bottle from DragonStout. Pour was light amber, flat looking, no head, zero lacing. The aroma was light fruits, some pepper. The flavor was light fruits (peaches), musty wooden character, very light pepper in the finish. The mouthfeel was dead flat (and the cork was a super challenge to get out, jammed in there hard), need more carbonation, any amount of it. Thanks for the opportunity on this one, Brian.
