Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

Nice carbonated head. Bubbles fall fairly quickly. Red body. Flavor of raisins on the sweet side with a Belgian kick to it.Body not too heavy. Will probably buy this again if it ever becomes more regular here in N. California.

I’m not sure if I should thank cquiroga, saarlander or dirty_martini well, whoever brought it, it’s a very nice beer. Golden pour, nice sweet/tangy flavor. Very nicely done

Fresh fruit salad bouquet, pears apples and some tropical fruits, some odd little yeasty character floating around in there, taste is very ester prevelant, slightly sweet, at least at first, then that yeastiness washes through and drys things out. Looks nice in the glass. Decent Belgian, thanks Kingpin

bottle. copper colored body, hazy and a few yeast particles, with a frothy foamy medium tan head. aroma is yeasty bready sweet malt like tart apple cider, valenica oranges in the fall, plums, and some chardonnay. flavor is lightly spiced caramel malt, tart like over-ripe apple cider, and and bready like water biscuits. lots of folks are unimpressed but I enjoyed this almost as much as a Fanotme or a Jolly Pumpkin.

Courtesy SoLan. Pours a hazy dark orange with a very small off white head. Smells of big Belgian yeast, some orange citrus, mild candy sugar, and fruits. The flavor is a little tart, pretty sweet, with a decent amount of funk. A little hint of some sourness with tart skins of fruits. Not awesome flavor, but semi-interesting. The candy sugar showed up more in the front and turned into funk towards the end. Not bad.

Thanks go to hopscotch for the bottle! After almost needing the jaws of life to extract the cork, this poured hazy coppery-orange with not much head sticking around. The aroma picked up sweet fruits and candi sugar.. softer with a bit of an orange twist to it. The flavor had sweet candi sugar, darker fruits, and orange zesty accents with dry, bready and spicy yeast notes and some alcohol warmth tailing off the sides.. felt just a tad empty at times, but otherwise very tasty. About medium-bodied with very good balance between the spicy yeast, sweet fruits, and alcohol warmth. Really well-made beer.

Really great brews so far soming from this brewery. I really enjoyed this one. I could definitely drink a whole 750 by myself. Aroma and taste is very sweet with light hints of bitterness. Very smooth going down and easy to drink. Some belgian sweetness is very nice. Mild spice and very fruity. Nice body and color of caramel.

Bottle: Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma, toasted notes, floral hops, some yeast and spices. Flavor, spices, yeasty, some slight funky notes, floral hops. Medium to light body, a pleasant carbonation. Pretty solid.
