A bit of green apple in the finish. Not as good as the other one. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Sweet raisin and brown sugared cherry aromas ride soft grassy-like undercurrents. Caramelized dried dark fruit tones gain a touch of herbal grassy hop flavor late. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A touch too sweet for me… RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Aroma is light and sweet with a decent amount of spice. Some malts and fruits mix with candied sugar and yeast. Almost saison-like. Flavor begins with a sweet and sugary taste that moves to a mildly spiced middle with tons of fruit sweetness. Some apples and citrus near the end. Finishes dry and tart with a light sweetness that hangs around. kramer (2527), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a clear bright copper body with a fizzy one finger off-white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is fruity with a crisp Macintosh apple juice focus. Some yeast, syrupy malt, light alcohol, and a touch of white pepper. The flavor is sweet fruity malt with a good bit of peppery alcohol, light brown sugar, and some yeastiness. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and viscous with some sticky residual sugars. Fizzy, slightly prickly carbonation. Overall, this was decent, but I think it was pretty lacking in complexity and subtlety. Big and heavy, but not distinctive. Brigadier (1257), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

Thanks to crizay (I think) for opening this halfway through the afternoon. It was suprising to discover that this was from Florida; I would not have imagined something like this coming from that region. While it was not a fabulous Belgian I think it was solid for someone just starting out. If the brewer can build on this they will have a loyal following in the near future.
Aroma / Appearance - A cloudy light brown body was about halfway down the scale of darkness. Yeast, white bread, pineapples and pears formed the nose with the fruitiness being the strongest aspect. A hint of funky barnyard nestled in the background.
Flavor / Palate - The body was suprisingly rich. Orange peels, vanilla and peach opened with pineapples completing a delayed experience. Overall I was kind of indifferent until I learned this was one of the first commercial attempts from the brewer. That’s no going to affect my scoring but it does mean I may keep an eye on this company in the future. garthicus (1319), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
