Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

Thanks xnoxhatex! Pours a murky dark orange with a minimal white ring on top. Intricate aroma, sweet honey, malty caramel, fruity, woody, tart, alcohol. Tastes like a sour and barley wine blend. Thick viscous body, zero carbonation, sticky, vague. Tart, sweet, caramel, lightly sour, lightly spiced with a touch of red fruit in the finish. Good going America.

Nice tart aroma starts this off, lots of carbonation with a huge tan head that sticks around. The beer itself is a reddish-amber in color, and highly carbonated. Nice balance of flavors, dark candi sugars, dark fruits, spice, a touch of roast, and just a hint of the tartness promised by the aroma. I am glad I got this one as an extra, it is a pleasant surprise.

Cloudy caramel with big, fizzy and foamy tan head / LIght, crisp nose of orchard fruit, brett, and caramel / Light to medium body, tart and somewhat sour, with good balance and finish / Sour, a little skunky, flavors of caramel, apples, cherries, cinnamon and brett / Lacks the complexity of the best like Jolly Pumpkin, but very good.

750 ml. Mostly clear copper with a lasting eighth-inch of cream. Aroma is sweet earth: musty, tart apples and berries baked in nutmeg and brown sugar. Flavor is similar, but has more of the musty-tart apple and brown sugar, with hints at vinegar. Some toasted oak and nut in the finish. Medium body is fairly smooth and slightly dryish in the end.

750 mL bottle (tasting hosted by after4ever) - clear orange with white head and tart apple aromas; flavors of fruit, yeast and very mild spice; smooth with creamy texture right from the first sip

Bottle. Brown pour with reddish hint, some off white head. Sweet sugary malt, ripe fruit, and yeast (unibrouesqu) in the aroma. The flavor is the same, the sugar and ripe fruit are nice flavors. Enjoyable and very drinkable for this abv.

Hazy orange pour similar to caramel. Yeasty aroma. Very fruity beer with notes of cherry, tart apple, grapes, and oranges. Quite a complex beer giving way to honey, and a nice sour funk. very refreshing on the venice beaches south jetty on the 4th trappist glass and all. You can only get away with that a couple times of year.! looks like the forth is one of them. KNOW THAT!

Poured a cloudy orange color with a medium foamy white head that left some lacing around the glass. The aroma is of tart citrus fruits, some funky belgian yeast, candy sugar, and some apples. The flavor is very interesting as well of tart fruits with a lot of candy sugar mixed in. The tart apples and oranges seem to blend in well with candy sugar with some of that yeast present. I liked the flavor this one had. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with the right amount of carbonation and long sweet finish. This was definitely interesting and glad to see something good like this come out of florida.
