Commercial Description:
Lectio Divina is a cross between an abbey double and a saison. Open fermentation with a saison strain and a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

750 ml bottle corked and caged from my secret santa. i would have liked to hold onto this one for awhile but the cork looked ready to pop when i pulled it out of the box. pour beautiful hazy brown with a perfect tan head. perfect belgian ale appearance. aromas are subtle and are mostly yeast and alcohol but some funk there too. hmmm this isnt shaping up like i was expecting. flavour are quite nice. funky belgian dark fruits. actually a little sour in the mouth. quite interesting. i have to admit i didnt think this was going to be this good. scary drinkable. thanks santa!

From 750 ml bottle : Pours a hazy amber/orange color with a foamy white head that leaves spotty lacing around the glass. Nose of tropical fruits, peach, apple sauce, yeast, bread dough. Taste is fruity sweet. Palate has some tart to it, and again like the Saison, could use some more carbonation in my opinion. Still very good brew from FL.

Copper pour with a small off white head. Aromas of sweet malts and light fruits. The flavors include light fruits like apples and pears along with some spices and a touch of alcohol comes through at the finish.

Bottle courtesy of nbutler11 - thanks Nick. Violent gusher - probs my own fault. Nice ruby plum color with a very persistent tan head. Smells of clove, flour, dark quad fruits and that Flemish non-funk funk, like what you get from Bacchus or Blvd. BBQ. Flavor is also slightly Flemish with a fair amount of spice. Almost like a Trap quad at times, especially after sediment.

Bottle acquired via the generosity of Sparky27. Eric is the most generous guy on the site...THANKS!!! Copper penny pour with a bit of rusty nail around the edges and a frothy ivory head. Aroma exhibits a nice grassiness, along with raisin, brown sugar, and spice. Flavor is definitely belgian-inspired with yeasty, biscuity qualities, spice, and even a brett-like sourness. Medium mouthfeel and unique. Liked this one alot!!!

Nice carbonated head. Bubbles fall fairly quickly. Red body. Flavor of raisins on the sweet side with a Belgian kick to it.Body not too heavy. Will probably buy this again if it ever becomes more regular here in N. California.

I’m not sure if I should thank cquiroga, saarlander or dirty_martini well, whoever brought it, it’s a very nice beer. Golden pour, nice sweet/tangy flavor. Very nicely done
