Hazy appearance and a large head. The flavor seemed to be a mixture of assorted fruits and a solid base of a sweet caramel. Good lingering aftertaste.

Cask at OTH A- Oak,Figs,Vanilla, and some eathiness AP- A dark amber red, almost scarlett F- Very similar to the aroma. There was alot going on, but the oak really took the stage it was very dominant. Palate- Was medium bodied finished quickly.

Cask at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours a reddish amber color, with brown highlights. Small white fluffy head. Aroma of big oak and bourbon, while the standard Lectio is fairly lost in all of it. Flavor is pretty much the same, with big oakey notes, caramel, some floral hops in the finish. Body feels a bit flat and dry. Expected more, disappointed to say the least. But I expect a lot better in the future.

Cask @ OTH Oldsmar. Light foam. A pleasant smell of oak with a sweet smell of brandy). Aroma is sugary which give sit this caramelized tone. Malty, dry and sweet with a little spice/herbal. The oak was quite present and overpowered some of the aroma and flavors from teh bottle version I am used to.

Cask @ Oldsmar Tap House. Slightly murky amber/brown body with a sturdy head. Nose of oak, bourbon, suntan lotion, citrus and dough. Flavor picks up some toffee/caramel notes, but heavily focuses on the booze and earthy tones. Light-medium bodied, feels a little thin, maybe due to the barrel aging. Finish is lengthy, this one has quite an oaky afterbirth. Overall I need to try this one a few more times, but my first impression is while good, it falls well behind his wonderful Saison and Pays as his best beer.

On Cask @ Oldsmar Tap House. pours a hazy amber with a one finger lasting off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of heavy oak, rotten citrus, spicy yeast, and green apples. Taste is the same as aroma with sweet caramel. Medium creamy mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and well hidden alcohol. The oak was a little strong but overall a very tasty beer.
