Aromas of berries, floral, and spices. Tastes of the same flowers, berries, spices, and citrus. Lots of floralness and berries for sure. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Tap at Barcade 5th Anniversary party. Amber pour with no head. The nose is fairly loaded with acetone but there is a solid tropical yeasty fruitiness behind that. The flavour is also fairly fruity with a lot of apple and pear esters along with a bit of light tartness. There is a kiss of oak as well. The beer has a kiss of lactic tartness as well as a fairly assertive balsamic character on the back. It’s got a nice light sweetness that gives an impression of honey. Soft and sweet with a nice fruitiness on the back. I like this although I think there is a lot of room for improvement. egajdzis (3626), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of berries, spices, flowers, and citrus fruits. Taste of flowers, spices, dried fruits, berries, citrus, and a semi-dry finish. This was the best of the new St. Somewhere beers I had yesterday. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 26, 2009 Tap at Grey Lodge. Pours a lightly hazy deep copper orange with a small bubbly head. Aroma of candy sweetness, dark fruits, herbal notes and light berries. Flavor of sweet dark fruits, caramel, berries and herbal spices. Kind of reminded me of a Quad. Would age gracefully. daknole (2941), Plantation, Florida, USA

Here is one of FL’s best breweries and we cannot even get it down here. This is bullshit. Oh yeah and it wasn’t all that great. Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Courtesy of Degarth and Bob. Pours murky brown with initially tall tan head that drops off in a couple of minutes to a thin ring. The aroma full, rich, quite varied and inviting. Wow, lots of notes of dark fruitiness like prunes, sticky mashed dates and sweet Concord grapes. There’s a big hit of tartness that leads into faint funk at the end of a big draw. It can have a different aroma on successive draws. I even get freshly cut oak notes at times. There seems to be lots going on here and the nose has ratcheted up the expectations of the flavor to come. Here goes, the taste is very much like the nose with sweet varied fruitiness like prunes, dates, ripe cherries, dark grape sweetness and ripe red delicious apples. The flavor also has a layer of tartness, yeasty spice, some mild tannins and a faint background of funk. I look forward to trying this again and when it has aged. michael-pollack (2691), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of flowers, slight sour fruit, slight berries, and slight alcohol. Poured brown/deep amber in color with a tiny, off-white head that lasted around the edges. Hazy. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of wood, berries, slight yeast, hibiscus, and malts. Medium body. Thin, dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, woody finish. puzzl (2621), New York, New York, USA

At first I liked this but the more I sat on it the more vile it became. At first a clean, dryish, floral saison, this becomes a vat of nail polish, apple juice, and cheap cider vinegar. Blech! A total mess. These guys can do better.
