Deep golden color with a a lightly whipped egg white head with a splash of vanilla. Herb and spice aromas. Lavender, white pepper, raw ginger and touch of a dry old barn in the nose. Light pale malt sweetness in the start. Pepper, spices and fruit in the middle. Melon, mango and kiwi come to mind for the fruit flavors. Some funky esters seem to be adrift. Light citric and earthy hops blend in. Finish is a bit hot with pepper, spice and alcohol. LInger remains hot with spices prickling the tongue. Saison, no. Spiced strong golden perhaps. Lacks in finesse and grace.

Bottle acquired via Sparky27...thanks Eric!!! Beautiful 14 karat pour with incredibly fluffy cloud-like white head that left significant lacing. Aroma is quite spicy, with lemon zest, orange peel, and yeast. Flavor is unique...a bit off, actually. Can’t quite place it. Extremely citrusy but there is an odd spice making its way to the palate. Pear, orange, and a little banana are there...not a favorite.

Golden pour with big old white head. Very spicey, grainy aroma. Wheaty, spicey flavor. I get some apple cider, some clove and other spice. I dig this more than the standard (non brett) saison.

Sampled at St Pete Creative Loafing Beerfest but have had this around the Tampa Bay area. Very wheaty like cereal. It is smooth and has a lemon zest.

tastes like apple pie. bright, obvious spicing and apple ester aroma. excellent head retention that is a result of high carbonation. clean finish mild hoppiness that fits well. super refreshing. aroma is hard to distinguish from apple cider very little hop boqueut

750ml obtained in trade with dchmela. Hazy dark yellow onion skin pour with a light head. Quite a spicy aroma. Pepper and a little must with a hint of apple pulp. The flavor has quite a bit going on. Spicy with pepper and something else that is hard to place. Some musty and wild notes and a touch of sweetness that really goes well with everything. Light-medium body with a zingy pallet.

750 ml into trappist glass. Thanks daknole! Nice darker golden with lots of fervent rising carbonation and a descent fluffy head that lasts pretty well and leaves some lace, but isnt as rich dense and creamy as it is sudsy and fizzy. Nice spicy clove banana yeasty aroma with hints of cinnamon and dough. The flavor is about the same but a little bit blander, partly due to the fact that the over-carbonation overrides the flavors. Medium to light body and over-carbonated. Overall: not great, not horrible, just pretty average. BUT, i am not the biggest saison fan. Once I swirl half of the carbonation out, the beers flavor and body does get quite a bit more pleasurable.
