750 ml into trappist glass. Thanks daknole! Nice darker golden with lots of fervent rising carbonation and a descent fluffy head that lasts pretty well and leaves some lace, but isnt as rich dense and creamy as it is sudsy and fizzy. Nice spicy clove banana yeasty aroma with hints of cinnamon and dough. The flavor is about the same but a little bit blander, partly due to the fact that the over-carbonation overrides the flavors. Medium to light body and over-carbonated. Overall: not great, not horrible, just pretty average. BUT, i am not the biggest saison fan. Once I swirl half of the carbonation out, the beers flavor and body does get quite a bit more pleasurable.

Really nice aroma of green apples, lemon, citrus, orange, straw maybe. Pours a golden hazy tone with a decent head. Flavors of citrus, green apples, a touch of funk, straw, lemon. Some yeast. Spice, pepper, very light though. Nice carbonation, smooth drinking with a quenching citrus finish. Pretty good beer.

Sample courtesy of hellbilly at the hellbilly holiday tasting. Hazy orange color pour with a fluffy head that lasts a while. Light fruit, yeast, spice and just a hint of hay. Citrus and fruit in the flavor, with yeast, malt, and a bit of pepper and funk. Well carbonated and a bit sticky. Nice. Thanks Josh!

Bottle. Pours sparkling dark yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt -grain, hay, straw-, average hops -herbs-, heavy yeast -barnyard, earth- with notes of pear, pepper, and coriander. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

A cloudy, orange color that is not particularly visually appealing, but once you smell the flowery fragrance, you will begin to understand why this beer is so good. It is an easy, sweet flavor that is punctuated by spices. The beer is highly effervescent, which adds a feeling of drinking sparkling, white wine. All in all a delightful beer that smells and tastes wonderful.

Pours orange with a huge fluffy head. Aroma is floral, quite peppery and malty. Flavors are spicy and peppery, floral and refreshing fruits with a dash of cloves. I thought this was good and Ill be looking forward to trying their other one soon. If youve had a bad experience with this beer I did hear something about a problem with one of the earlier batches which has since been corrected. May be worth a re-visit.

Had at the winter solstice last year. Yeasty lightly spiced and citrusy. Aweird papery note to this that left a weird taste on my tongue. Still an okay beer.

750ml bottle from badbeer. Pours cloudy orange/yellow with a big, white head and good lace. Smells light and spicy with clove and some rosemary. Sweet overall. Tastes about the same with spices and sweetness. Nice lingering malt sweetness which helps out the spices. Medium body, good carbonation.
