The bottle opens with a giant pop. Watch yours eyes!! Nice clear bubbly gold with a good three finger white head. Great lacing, and the head dies to an awesome rocky, collar. Initially it has an herbal smell (as in weed), and then after breathing a few minutes a nice jasmine, almost heather note appears. Lots of spicy hops with juniper, coriander, an almost gamy note, oak, a weird mustiness, and some funk. Really a complex aroma. The taste is clean and crisp and refreshing. Great tea notes, lots of spices and hops, and a solid bubbly sour finish. The complexity and drinkability are through the roof proving some new nuance every sip. I could drink this non-stop. A unique yet traditional farmhouse ale that is very underrated.

Zeeland 08’ tasting. Poured a golden color with a small white head. Aroma was apples and spice. Taste was much the same, and everybody commented that this was very reminiscent of apple sauce. Tasty, easy drinking, well balanced.

Bottle shared by GMCC2181, Thanks Boss Man. Poured golden/amber with nice foamy white head. Aroma of spice and little bit of citrus. Taste was similar with nice carbonation and a little bit dry. Easy to drink and enjoyable. Thanks Gabe.

Bottle from dakine, thanks. Light orange in color, good head. Aroma is spicy and earthy. Taste is also spicy, earthy, orange, with a minor amount of hops in the aftertaste. Pretty dry. Good carbonation. Light in texture, easy to drink. Good saison, thanks again dakine...****Update**** Just had another botte. This one had no hop presence at all. Nice dry tart taste. Still had an earthy, spicey taste to it. Nice saison

Pours golden amber into a snifter. Fluffy bright white head recedes to hug rim leaving slight sheets. Orange and aspirin aromas. Spritzy with a multitude of flavors. Orange, lemon, alcohol, sour grapes, pepper, biscuit, dusty leaves and earth. Lasting finish that mixes all of the above. LIke a fresh Fantome.

750. Thanks, BVC! I’ve had unratable bottles of this, but this bottle has to be a lot closer to what the brewer was aiming for. Or at least hoping for. :-)
Beautiful cloudy medium gold with a thin but dense white fizzy heads. Nice sweet floral, grassy, slightly bubble gummy nose. Plenty of lace. Creamy, lightly fizzy medium body. Apples, bubblegum, balsa wood, grass, and flowers on the mid-palate. Mild, dry finish. Great stuff.
