750 Pours a very murky and hazed, dull amber yellow with a decent head that diminishes rapidly. The aroma is wheat like, slightly lemony, and perhaps some minor farmhouse notes. The flavor is a spicy blend that seems to hit from all sides, with clove, sweetness, white pepper, vanilla, moist dankness (in a good way), wheat, very noticeable hops, minor leather, and some heat. The palate is very refreshing, cleansing, and lively - awesome with food. Overall, this really is outstanding! Cheers to finally adding Florida to my stats.

750 ml bottle from Dakine. Pours a cloudy yellow with a big white head that left plenty of lacing. Cork launched with a force that was astounding, dented my 14 foot vaulted ceiling, my vote for explosive cork of the year award. The aroma is funky, musty and spicy. The flavor is complex with lemons, cinnamon, hay, vanilla and cloves. The mouthfeel is full and satisfying with soft carbonation. The finish was medium in duration, dry and fairly clean with just a hint of lingering clove. Overall: This is a very good saison, I am quite impressed. Thanks Dakine

Bottle 750 ml
Appearance: Thick , foggy hazed copper/orange ale with large bright head. Semi ornamental lacing. 4-.
Nose: Citric , grassy , hay with tart apple , hint of farm ale with grassy scents.
Flavor/Palate : Sweeter front , caramel sugars. Grassy hay like with slight hints of vanilla. More complex in the centre what was a bit unusual. Sweet tartness with subtle bitterness. Good.

750 mL bottle courtesy cdumler. Thanks! Opening the sucker was interesting. First, the cage broke, leaving it almost impossible to open. When the cork was finally liberated, it dented the ceiling after oh so thoughtfully opening itself. Slightly cloudy yellowish-orange color similar to a type of Robitussin that was around in my youth. Dry, funky aroma with citrus, vanilla, ginger and clove notes. Dry taste with notes of citrus, vanilla, thyme, ginger and alcohol.

This was another fine beer provided to me by my brother and his girlfriend. Poured a light brown/amber color with a thin head that dissipated pretty rapidly. Had a nice fruity aroma to it. Flavor was also of fruit and spice. Alcohol was hidden well. Mouthfeel was pleasant and drinkability was high.

Bottle. Poured a light brown to amber color with a thin head. Fruity, winey aroma, slightly sweet. Flavors of fruit and spice with a hint of cheese in the background. As weird as that sounds it wasn’t unpleasant. Only slight flavors of alcohol. Good mouthfeel. Good beer.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a cloudy peach with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of melon, tropical fruit, pepper and light straw. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of pepper, melon and light straw with a smooth dry peppery finish.

Corked bottle via dchmela. Very Belgian style Saison, which I like. Cloudy gold colour with a white head that dissolves quickly. Aroma is fruity and spicy at the same time with some brett mixed in. The flavour was nice until the finish, just a little dryer and more alcohol than expected. Still good though.
