Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a fizzy white, leaves some lacing. On the nose pepper, some brett farmhouse funk, rosemary, cloves, hay, all over a light toasted malt aroma. In flavor, some nice light maltiness, pepper, apricot, bananas, cloves, more funk, touch of lemon, some earthy note, with a satisfying bitter finish. This has a wonderful mouthfeel, high carb--just right for the style. Lush bubbles, and wonderfully dry. Overall, a heavily spiced, slightly funky saison. I am very impressed.

Sweet nose contrasts nicely with citrus and spice flavor ... interesting even if not entirely authentic or anticipated. Beautiful golden amber, hazy, huge firm white head, surprisingly little lace. Moderately hopped, interestingly spiced, and quite enjoyable. But how can a beer have a nose that it sweet and a citrus and funky taste?

I think I have moejuck to thank for this: Aroma is the sweetness of a cherry blossom. Flavor is spicy, corriander, bubblegum, light ginger. Mildly hopped. A pleasant offering.

750 ml bottle, corked and caged, from Bottle Trek. Thanks to BlackDonald about the need for cork control. Hazy gold color with a bubbly white head. Principal aroma is ginger. Underlying light malt and funk? Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is mostly ginger, there’s a hint of funk, a little citrus/coriander. Finishes out a bit herby with complicated flavors including lighter stone fruits. Really quite appealing. I love ginger.

Thank to Beerlando! An explosive pour literally, I think the cork flew about 10 feet. Somewhat spicy and sweet in the nose with some herbal hops, biscuity maltiness and a prevalent bit of farhmouse funk, cinnamon and coriander. Drinkable but not overly complex. A bit of honey with prevalent cinnamon spices throughout, with some yeasty qualities tucked in, perhaps a bit of clove and a very faint banana.

Pours a cloudy orange gold color with almost no head. The aroma is funky, with spices and ginger. The flavor is quite tart, slightly funky, there’s some spices, ginger and fruits. The body is light with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. Impressive, well crafted.

750ml - thanks SoLan - Aroma of spicy yeast, sour fruit, lemon, hay and bubblegum. Pours cloudy gold with a medium head and good soapy lacing. Flavor of clove, ginger, coriander, bready yeast and sour citrus fruits. Alcohol makes an appearance. Palate is tart and sharp. Different from a traditional saison in the fact that it is very spicy and a tad too strong on the alcohol, but refreshing and tasty nonetheless.
