Sampled at Jans Saison tasting, thanks! Appearance: Cloudy orange, small white head. Aroma: Apple, lemon, cinnamon & allspice, some corriander too. Flavour: Cinnamon, spice, some lemon juice too, very enjoyable and refreshing on the hot day that it was.

Sampled at OSLO/Guerde’s Memorial Day tasting. Shared by Joebrew. Pours a clear golden pale saison with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of white bread malt, apple cinnamon, a touch of nutmeg, white pepper and some pear. Taste is light bodied, well-carbonated, with a light malt flavor with cinnamon spice and a touch of fruit. Finish is spritzy, with a mild apple and cinnamon flavor that reminded me a little of Kelloggs Apple Jacks.

Golden-orange color with a mild head. Aroma is a bit citrusy with some light hops and farmhouse-ish scents. Flavor is citrusy and way off the mark - can’t figure it out, but somethings not right here. Will have to re-rate.

A golden/yellow pour with no head or carbonation at all. Aroma of corrinader and some other spice. Flavor is fruity apple like with corriander and a hint of an odd like bitter. Carbonation was zero but this beer was good enough to over come that I would like to try it again and drink it fresh. Thanks to the Fla guys who sent it to me in the homebrew swap.

Bottle: Poured a orange copper color with long lasting huge off white head. The aroma was fruit, malt, and spices that kicked in the nose. Flavor was almost burnt tasting malt with spices such as cloves. Very nice kick with lots of flavor.

2008 Bottle - Thanks gunhaver!, After messing with the broken cage, pours a translucent deep gold with minimal head, aroma is complex - funk, fruit and alcohol, flavour is an awakening, malt, fresh grain, and what scientists and home brewers alike would refer to as "the fucking spice rack," coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, clove... this is the best saison I’ve had in I don’t know how long, what a treat, complex and nicely fortified, and immensely refreshing is true saison form, I kinda wish I lived in tarpon springs....

Golden colored with a big lacing head. Peppery aroma with hints of pine forrest and horse blanket. Reminds me of a masculine cologne. Carbonation bites and fades quickly. Taste is herbal and slightly medicinal but in a good way. Finish is clean.

Bottle. Straw yellow with a good sized white head. Aroma is mildly funky, some leathery tones, maybe some sweet pale belgian malt and spices. The flavor is the same, quite pleasant. The citrus / tart component is refreshing and balanced by the light sweetness of the malt in the back. Good beer.
