Sep 4, 2009 Cloudy yellow gold with a small white head. Yeasty, spicy nose. Flavor is pure saison: citrusy, yeasty, soft and subtle. very nice.

Sep 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow, small wispy white head. Slight yeast, some spice and citrus notes. Palate is more of the same, yeast, spice and lemon, also a touch of pepper. Very soft feel from the carbonation.

Sep 2, 2009 I must say the bottle is totally badass, fantasy and epic. However, these guys really overprice there beer... it’s like 14 bones for a 750ml bottle. When you can get Southern Tier for $6, why even bother? Sampled on tap at Rattle n Hum. Ultra cloudy orange and golden yellow. Tastes like sunny delight mixed with a Saison. Very tart, yeasty, and more sunny d. Not entirely balanced and fairly problematic. Does not live up to the Epic labeling..

Sep 1, 2009 Bottled, thanks daknole! Hazy golden, airy head. Funky fruity cinnamon aroma. Sweetish and lightlyyeasty with spritzy rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and fairly complex. Notes of citrus and marzipan. Quite lovely!

Aug 28, 2009 Big bottle shared with Jeff and his family at the invitation-only pre-opening of Pizzeria Paradiso in Dupont Circle. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of licorice. Taste of banana and bubble gum. Slight bitter finish. Nice.
