bottle from dragonstout... after a fight to get the cork out it pours an orange shade of gold with a thin white head. the yeast adds some cloudiness. it smells like fresh pumpkin or squash, dirt, straw, funk, spiciness and flowers. very dry fake lemon flavor with notes of dried herb bitterness, grass, yeast, flowers and a clove like numbing quality on the tongue. it tastes strange at first but as it warms it is down right rude. if you’ve ever made simple syrup with lemon zest and pre squeezed lemon juice, cooked it until it turned brown then drank it,, that’s what this tastes like. bad bottle needs re rate...6/3/3/3/5/2.0

bottle by way of thecheeseman... pours pale golden and cloudy. aromas of apple cider (bruised red apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, clove), pale malt, lemon, dry straw and a touch of yeast. lots of herbal goodness in the flavor... flowers, lavender, white pepper, cement, cinnamon, lemon and pale malt sweetness. terribly over carbonated.8/3/8/2.5/15/3.7

Bottled. Thx marsiblursi. Golden with a white head. Sourish aroma from cinnamon and apples. Fresh and sourish flavour; sweet lemon??? Slightly reminiscent of a "radler".

Gold. Medium sized, foamy, white head. Very nice aroma- floral, spicy, and funky with crisp grains and hops. Flavors of cinnamon life cereal, chamomile, pepper, bretty funk, fresh grains, and a nice bit of euro hops. Medium body, lots of carbonation but it matches the flavor profile. Excellent saison.

Clear pale body with a small white head, fading. The nose is lightly sweet, herbal and floral with lemon and pepper. The flavor is lightly sweet with herbs, tangerine, cotton candy and pepper. Medium body is very soft with gentle carbonation.

After a struggle with the cork, the brew poured a mostly clear golden color with a thin white head. Light spiced aroma, wet grains, a background sweetness. Nice balance of body and carbonation. The taste has some spice, a suggestion of funk, and a dry finish. A lingering sourness is apparent, not entirely complimentary to the rest of the brew. Still a commenable effort, need to try the next batch.

Bottle thanks to BigMilly8. Opens with a bang, pouring a cloudy pale yellow with a bone white head that settles within a minute. Nose of lemon grass, toasted grains, under ripened pears and green apples, along with a blast of cinnamon and yeast. Taste is similar with more apple, cinnamon, sweet lemons, a touch of ginger, and bready malts. The body is light and...spritzy, making this fully refreshing with a semi-drying finish.

This is a nice Saison. The bottle was so excited that it uncorked itself. Nice bone-white head subsides rapidly and leaves this spicy, almost peppery liquid that hace notes of citrus and apple (?), then leaves with a sweet and spicy finish. Nice and very drinkable.
