Its appearance is golden yellow with a chill haze and a pillowy white head. The flavor includes a soft fuzzy fruitiness that includes strawberry and peach, subtle spice, as slightly sweet maltiness, and a dry peppery finish. This medium-bodied bee is soft with a good palate. It is just right for the season (Winter).

Pours a hazy orange, soft white head. Aroma is soapy, perfume, citrusy, light yeast must and spice. Lively carbonation. Taste is dry, prickly, musty yeast spice. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Sampled at International Beer Garten (Lutz, FL) tasting event. Bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a foamy head. Very unique aroma that includes chamomile, fresh rosemary and black pepper along with the yeast notes. Good flavor but with so much going on from all the different spices it’s a bit overwhelming. Sweet and dry finish. DaSilky1 (2029), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2009 pours a hazed but glossy school bus yellow with thick microbubble lacephiles..nose was explosive...old orange juice, hay, herbs, pineapple, soil, salted lemons...what a saison is supposed to smell like. Extremely subtle flavor profile with medium body to back it..prickly carbonation yet the mouthfeel is somewhat creamy. Flavors hint at orange zest, pineapple, passion fruit...and similar tropical fruits. I’m really digging this yeast they’re using..its got just enough belgian yeast esters to saison up the tropical/hay flavors...The only thing im somewhat distracting by is the over-the-top carbonation, which is starting to hurt my chest. badlizard (2389), Berkeley, California, USA

Bright and very lively palate. Tart orang lemon and slight pineapple taste with some pleasant nectar and floral notes. piscator34 (1134), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Gold on colour with strong carbonation. Aromas of cinnamon, earthy spices (nutmeg perhaps?) pale malts, hot spices, and faint lime pith. Loads more cinnamon and black pepper in hte mouth along with more pale malts and grassy hops. Medium to light bodied with a drying finish. The spice element was way over the top for my taste.
