Pours cloudy gold with orange low-lights and a creamy white head. Aroma is very apple-y at first, but that dies down after the beer’s been in the glass a bit. After that, aroma of grass, hay, sauteed apples, pears, caramel, and earthy hops. Tastes grassy with a bit of caramel, sauteed apples, citrus, hay, earthy hops in the back. Finishes kinda sweet in a malty-earthy way, fading into earth, grass, and a light amount of pears. If this is funky, it’s definitely leaning towards the fruity end of the spectrum (doesn’t seem like brett beers to me). Medium bodied, high carbonation, creamy. Pretty good!

courtesy of Chris Beers - pours a fully cloudy lactic-orange colour under a huge foamy white head; aroma of brettanomyces, vanilla, cella and hay; full-bodied and highly carbonated; sweet and acidic; some residual sweetness in a fizzy fruity and acidic finish - fresh and solid at the same time; very pleasant

Brewed in the USA.......Courtesy of Waylo, thanks dude. Pours a hazy golden color with a monster foamy and some mild carbonation. Aroma of pepper, spices and a musty cedar thing going on. Taste of earth, peaches, spices and some pepper. Mouthfeel is sweet but finishes on the dry side.

750ml corked and caged bottle. The cork said 2008 but I had just purchased it a week prior. Poured hazy gold with a large semi-lasting head. The smell was pepper, cedar, coriander, and slightly musty. The semi-sweet flavor had notes of cedar, pepper, earth, and must. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Even though it was kinda sweet it managed to finish dry. Not your average saison and not amazing either. Slightly above average.

Bottle 2009 Pours a cloudy yellow with a big diminishing white head. Has a good aroma of spices, citrus, and some earth. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is good. Has nice blending. HAs a medium body. Has a dry texture. Finish is pretty good providing a good aftertaste. This is a tasty beer. It is a beer you want to take your time with and let it settle as you go.

750ml 2009 bottle courtesy of Fogdog, thanks man! Nice cloudy orange color, decent head, looks good (they all do). The smell was quite spicy and also had a citrus zest type aroma. the taste was quite complex, more orange peel or maybe lemon peel, spice, pepper, really nice flavor. The mouthfeel was fine the only thing I did not like was the drinkability. This upset my stomach a little bit so I had to really take my time drinking it. Pours hazy gold, small white head. Get a lot of spicy orange on the nose and same in the flavor. Too much fruit, and more prevalent as it warms. Decent, but Not enough Saison funk or bite on the finish for me.
