The aroma shows hints of citrus fruit, barnyard muskiness, and cinnamon spices. The flavor shows more floral characters to go with the sweet fruits, apples, cinnamon, and some bready yeast. I definitely get an apple pie flavor in there as well, which is nice. Medium bodied and pretty smooth with nice carbonation and a slightly tart finish. A really nice saison. I can;t wait for Saint Somewhere to come out with more beers. phukktifano (159), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 6, 2009 750ml caged and corked bottle (2008 vintage) served in a tulip. This poured a hazy golden with a two-finger thick head of off-white foam that slowly settled into a lasting cap. Even rings of lacing were left down the entire glass. The aroma had hay, lemon zest, fresh grass, and also some subtle berry notes. The flavor consisted of spicy, peppery yeast, sourdough, lemons, oranges, and a very mild bitterness. Quick, immediate finish. Medium-bodied mouthfeel with a moderate amount of crisp carbonation. Complex but not overly challenging. Refreshing and pretty tasty! Kinz (2215), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 3, 2009 A pleasant surprise. Hazy golden. Aroma has a bit of wheaty grain and spice, perhaps coriander. Flavor is the same, with a nice Belgian yeast fruity bouquet on top. Very nice stuff. Had this in Beaverdam during the Big Brew Day, seemed fitting since we were brewing Saison. Aubrey (2778), Denver, Colorado, USA

Decent spices, though a bit subdued aromatically. Mild but nice clove and white pepper. Mild bitterness. Overall, a bit too sweet and yeasty, yet pleasant. sundevil27 (45), , New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Cork shot off as soon as I removed the wiring. Actually scared me. Poured a golden/yellow haze. Very citrusy on the nose. Almost a tart like flavor with a bit of a zip to it. An unusualy tasting saison, buy one that I like none the less.
