Corked and caged 750 ml bottle. Cork explodes with a loud KAPOW and ricochets off my kitchen ceiling, producing quite a gusher. It finally decants into a goblet a hazy burnished gold body with a tall vanilla head that deposits some lavish lace. Aroma has dusty spices, herbal and grassy hops, and a hint of lemon. Spritzy carbonation. Taste has a dry herbal hop dominance, subtle pilsner malt, white pepper, lemon tartness, and some champagne character. Carbonation is a bit overdone, but this is a solid effort. I had no idea this was brewed in Florida when I scored it.

Dec 17, 2009 Thanks to whomever brought this to the Bruery’s Christmas Show & Tell, 2009. I enjoyed this beer, nice and fruity with unique spiciness. It was tasty.

Nov 11, 2009 Bottle with atleast a year on it: wow cant beloeve i jave mot rated this one. Pours a very clear dark straw golden color with a good white head that last. Aroma is awesome full of peepery goodness, herbal chamomile, slight brett, sweet malts, apricot mango like fruit. Just full of so much. I love it. Flavor is also peppery with a slight tart and a good sugary sweetness. Nice tingly palate a world class saison.

Oct 25, 2009 bottle, pours a hazy light yellow with a tall frothy white head, nice lacing. Very lively. Aroma is grassy, some floral hop notes....smells like a tripel. Solid pale malts mix with peppery hop and alcohol. Nice lingering spicy bitter finish with a nice alcohol burn. Solid saison.

Oct 24, 2009 bottle thanks to bleeng. poured yellow with a white head and some lace. aroma was lemon, banana, pear, and spice. flavor was lemon, banana, and some funkiness. light body with high carbonation.

Oct 20, 2009 Bouteille de 750 ml, avec bouchon de liège, partagée lors d’une dégustation Ratebeer Montréal chez Altair. Arôme: Odeur de citron avec une pointe de fleur et de vin blanc. Apparence: La couleur est blonde voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de citron avec une pointe d’épices et de fruits. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement citronné. (Rating #2700)

Oct 17, 2009 Bottle from mcbackus, big thanks Matt! Nice cloudy yellow pour with huge white foam, beautiful meringue-like foam with nice retention and great lacing. Peppermint, dusty yeast, lemon peel and white wine in the aroma. Absolute bone dry deliciousness, just a hint of granny smith apple and a very well restrained bubble gum character. There are spices, but I can’t figure them out. I love that, much better than getting assaulted with a spice cabinet. Seriously drinkable. Love it.
