ironchefscott (226), long beach, California, USA May 28, 2008 thanks drewbeerme for the oportuinty to try this beer...well I thought it smelled like a lemon soda with a bit of ginger ale mixed in...the mouthfeel was fairly light and spritzy though I think this was a bit sweet for the style it was drinkable....but not something I would seek out again.....the flavors were of grainy malt and lemony gingeryish....and finished sweet
djtimeless (40), Alabama, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours out a cloudy gold with thin white creamy head. Taste is sweet but spicy. Nice fruity citrus and floral notes.Complex but balanced. Yum Shag (1767), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Aug 16, 2008 A cloudy yellow appearance with a large white head. The aroma flat out stinks with some skunk and barnyard notes. The flavor contains some lemons and vinegar. This one is a little off. Overall different but not too enjoyable acearl (171), Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 9, 2008 Saved this one for a while, golden hue slightly hazy, fluffy white head, nice lacing, very cinnamon smell and taste to aftertaste, there is a hint of apple mildew or barnyard. It is good not great, the best thing I have had from FL so far. Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 7, 2008 750 ml bottle. Hazy yellow/orange body with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and yeasty. Flavor is fruity, citrus, spicy, coriander and some esters. Quite original, but well balanced. The first sips made me a bit confused, then I start enjoying it, and at the bottom of the bottle I found it quite quaffable. Thaichile (583), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Aug 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a pillowy head floating on top. Nose is spice and barnyard. Great spice profile on the palate that pairs with slight saison tang but this is a completely smooth drinker, but even a little too smooth. This is a great saison !!
