Bottled. Hazy golden in colour. The aroma is Barnyardish, lightly hoppy. The flavour is sweet some toffee and sugar. Some honey and caramel, too sweet for me thou.

Dark blond cloudy beer with a small head. The aroma is of bread, caramel, malt and hop while the taste is floral-fruity-candy-bitter in an odd earthy way. Initially I thought this was really a good beer but now at the end of 33cl it is just a bit too much. Still it is an ok beer.

Orange color with tiny chunks of yeast. Strong hoppy, peppery aroma with hints of honey and blackcurrant. Sweet sugary flavor that hides the alcohol somewhat. Hoppy, citric, peppery and creamy. pear. Beyond the sweetness there is complexity. Tasty beer!

Bottle, Brussels, May 05. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread, cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with notes of peach, honey, tangerine, cantaloupe. Flavor is heavily sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.

(Bottled) Hazy darkish amber / muddy brown color with a medium, quite tight and tanned head. Earthy cow-dung aroma with caramel, hints of chocolate, vegetables and acidity. Earthy, quite grainy and slightly acidic, sweetish flavor with flowery, caramely toffee hints. Medium-bodied, slicky and foamy-carbonated palate. Some alcohol visible. Quite sweet for a saison, and not very refreshing. Had much higher hopes for this one.

Bottled (BB 12/2007)
Hazy nut, amber brown, lively carbonation. Huge creamy head. Fruity, yeasty - typical saison nose. Medium-bodied, crisp. Flavor is mainly fruity (grapes, figs) with alcoholic punch and chocolaty notes. (7/4/7/3/14 3.5)
Re-rated, bottled (BB 05/2007)
Hazy orangy - dark brown color, a creamy white head. A bit barnyardish, fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, some toffee, woody notes, alcohol picks up in the finish. Quite sweet, not very typical saison. (5/3/6/3/12 2.9)

Dark amber, light sparkling, lacy white head. Herbal and spicy aroma with some mint, a bit sweetish, too. The flavour is also sweetish/spicy with traces of aniseed (?). Medium bodied, leaves a dry finish. Why do they call this a saison?

Saison ?
