Beautiful aroma of tart apples and various other fruits - almost lambic like in all it’s funk glory. Very nice refreshing body, lots of apples, spice, and fruit flavours. Refreshingly tart and flavourful. Age was good to this Saison. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 11, 2005 1995 Vintage sampled at RBSG Montreal: sour woody aroma with the slightest hint of green apple, hazy light gold appearance, sour white grape with extremely woody notes and a slightly chewy finish, tastes more like a gueze than a saison. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2005 Hazy, dark toasted straw colored body with a thin, sudsy white head. Stray skunk note initially followed by mild yeasty notes and some spice. Very mild bouquet. Flavor has a lemony tartness and a pool water quality. A tart, thirst-quenching saison. The acidity in this adds yet another facet to the saison universe. Otherwise, this beer is fair but unexceptional.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 7, 2005 Golden/orange with film for head. Initial aroma is a huge sour kick. Has some earthy/musty qualities to it. Flavor is very sour citrus with a tiny bit of spice/woodsy character to it. Fades very quickly, with only a light sour in the aftertaste.
