750ml Corked and caged. Pours a cloudy light golden colour with a never say die rocky white head. Saazlike hop aroma, apples, lemon, and some barnyard. Big spicy yeast flavours, lemon well hopped with a creamy mouthfeel yet the carbonation is quite lively. When I finnaly made it down to the yeast pour some barnyard notes come out. A nice saison and a good way to watch a hockey game.

Grand white head with good retention. Yeast and citrus dominate the aroma. Pale yellow in color with a slight haze when held to light. Taste doesn’t differ from the aroma but does have a bit of a tartness near the end. Dry, very dry. A bit uninspired, which is the trend I’ve found with saisons in general.

Bottle at the Fourguet (the brewery tap), light amber, slightly hazy with visible sediment, and a rocky pure white head. A floral yeasty aroma with warm spicing. Dry and hoppy on the palate, fruity flavorus giving way to an even dryer and sour finish (with some peppery notes).

Bottled. Hazy golden with rich white foam. Sweet and yeasty aroma of oranges and cheese with touches of wet wood and grassy hops in the background. Cheesy and slightly woody flavour with notes of sweet oranges and red grape-peels. Dried oranges, spices and cheese in the finish.

From C&C 750. Pours a hazy gold with big, fluffy white head. Nose is dry, spicy yeasts and tart. Flavor is tart, dry and lightly spiced. Pretty good, but missing something.

750 shared with and courtesy of gputty. Cloudy gold with a rocky white head. Dusty yeast and citrus fruit nose. Very light, drp palate. Dry fruity flavors, yeast and more dry dustiness. Nise!

Pours hazy dull yellow with a nice sized soapy white head. The aroma has sharp citrus, barnyard, pepper and earthy yeast. Medium body with lots of semi-sharp carbonation. The taste starts with an earthy tart flavor that is tingly on the roof of the mouth. There is a brett flavor that is dominant. The finish hs sharper and drier than most saisons. I’m not sure what difference the spelt made, but this is a quality saison worth having.
